20年秋加盟，统计团队带头人。一年多就离职了。

统计学团队由中心教授徐蓉晖（美国加州大学圣地亚哥分校数学系和医学院教授，2020年秋季加盟）和应志良（美国哥伦比亚大学统计系教授）领头，团队还包括多名青年学者。近年来该团队已培养出多名统计学博士，目前在国际知名大学任教或做博士后。徐蓉晖教授的研究方向包括高维数据（机器学习）和因果推断方面的统计模型和分析方法以及相关方面的应用。应志良教授的研究方向包括各种统计模型的建立及相关理论研究，以及在教育心理测量、生物医学、金融市场等领域的应用。
