He was a postdoc at MIT from 2013-2016 and a faculty member at the University of British Columbia from 2016-2025. He is currently a faculty member at the Chern Institute of Mathematics, Nankai University. Zahl's work focuses on discrete and incidence geometry, additive combinatorics, and classical harmonic analysis. * w2 [" R2 B. r' c: C& U& f8 J
